History

The history of the company Webac Vibrator Gesellschaft für Vibrationstechnik mbH

The company Webac Vibrator Gesellschaft für Vibrationstechnik mbH was founded in the year 1983 as a sister company of Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH.

The motivation for this foundation was the fact that Webac Maschinenbau GmbH, a company active in the business field of machine and plant manufacture for the foundry industry, was very frequently confronted with vibration technology and its multi-facetted fields of application.

It was foremost in the foundry industry with all its fields of application of vibration technology including discharging aids and systems for conveying, screening, and compressing under demanding conditions, where Webac Vibrator GmbH achieved its first successes by building a sturdy, pneumatically-driven oscillation exciter for the tough operation in the foundry industry.

In the year 1989, other type series of pneumatic vibrators were introduced. Furthermore, electric vibrators were included in the delivery programme for the first time, too.

In the middle of the 1990s, the company Webac Vibrator Gesellschaft für Vibrationstechnik mbH became independent of Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH. From that time on, this company has been an affiliated company of a Scandinavian enterprise.

In 2008, Webac Vibrator Gesellschaft mbH was awarded the IAF certificate for the manufacturing, distribution, and trading of industrial vibrators and vibrating machines.
